These are the places I return to, and the women whose work I trust to hold me. Some in person. Some from a screen. All of them have moved something in me.

Healing with Elephants - Angela Schellenberg - This is an experiential journey, not a class or a course of teaching. It is a chance to travel somewhere beautiful alongside a safe, supportive community of people who understand loss, moving through a new place side by side, held by a group that quietly attunes to one another and to the hardship each of us carries.
Healing with Horses - Angela Schellenberg - Grief support, equine healing, psychotherapy informed teaching, and soul nourishing connection, held inside an intimate eight bedroom circle. These gatherings form twice a year, each spring and fall, so there is always a next circle taking shape.
Kripalu — Stockbridge, Massachusetts - A Berkshires institution and the one I send women to first. Yoga, ayurveda, and silent walks through the kind of New England woods that quiet a nervous system on contact. Their R&R programs are the soft landing. Their teacher trainings are the deeper work.
Audrey Sutton Mills — International Retreats - My friend Audrey is one of the most embodied teachers I know. She holds a small handful of international retreats each year, woven from yoga, breathwork, and the kind of soul work that lets you arrive home different. Her circles fill quietly. Ratna Ling — Cazadero, California - A Tibetan Buddhist retreat center tucked into the coastal redwoods north of San Francisco. Silent mornings, hatha yoga, dharma teaching, and a community that has spent decades preserving sacred texts by hand. You leave slower. The kind of slower that lasts.
Graceline Institute — Park City, Utah and abroad - The work here is dropping the story. Graceline teaches freedom through emotional intelligence, the wider lens that lets you see how the world is conspiring on your behalf. Old experiences leave scars, and like tight new skin, they can pull at us. Once you embrace the patterns holding you back, you are free.
Discover Corps — Peru, Sacred Valley - Some things a child cannot learn behind their own front door, and the shape of another life is one of them. Discover Corps is the B Corp we trust for that work, and Peru's Sacred Valley was our trip. A small group, a guide who knew the communities, and days spent inside villages where the rhythms are different and the priorities clearer. Our children came home asking better questions. This is how a thoughtful global citizen begins. Through the body. Quietly.
Global Empowerment Mission - I sit on the executive board of Global Empowerment Mission, and I am sharing it here not as a place to send your family but as a quiet invitation. GEM is one of the leanest, fastest disaster responders in the world. Children learn awareness early when we let them. A lemonade stand for the next hurricane. A coin jar for the next earthquake. Small acts that build a wider lens.
